BCS-ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis

For establishing a worldwide standard for the assessment of the professionals who have mastered the distinct skills and competencies needed to determine project or system requirements, control scope and manage these requirements throughout the development life cycle, BCS has developed the ISEB Certification in business analysis.

This certificate covers the broad range of principles and techniques within the sphere of Business Analysis.

The certificate is relevant to anyone requiring an understanding of Business Analysis including business analysts, business managers and their staff, business change managers and project managers.

This qualification also counts towards the ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis and the ISEB Diploma in Systems Development.

Structure

The structure of the examination is a closed book 40-question multiple-choice examination with a pass mark of 26 and above.

Candidates who are awarded a pass for the examination are awarded the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis.

Entry requirements

There are no specific pre-requisites for entry to the examination; however candidates should possess the appropriate level of knowledge to fulfill the objective shown above.
